Customer Service????
I just want to know what happened to customer service at fast food restaurants?? Ie: Wendy's for this story... But they don't welcome you anymore, say thank you, heck--they barely talk to you at all! This is a recent ordering experience:
Order Taker: Yes?
Me: Yes hi, i would like a turkey sandwich meal please--just meat and cheese please.
OT: K
Me: (after long pause) Yea, plain please with the meal?
OT: yea, pull around.
Me:um... ok
OT: (at window) 4.28
Second OT: What kind of cheese did you want?
Me: um.. i dont know, what comes on it?
Second OT: UGH, I dont KNOW!
Me: Alright-- um swiss?
SOT: FINE!
(they still havent asked me what drink I want.)
OT: hands me my change and slams the window shut
(drive to next window?)
SOT: What drink?
(at this point I'm so angry I felt like asking, well gee, what do you have?)
Me: coke
Hands me bag, coke, straw and slams window.... no thank you, no questions about sauce... nothing! Haven't been back there since, and I have told as many people as possible.
Maybe people will boycott that establishment until they get some good service. But I doubt it because there are plenty of equally bad places of service around here also. Is it just here in Delaware or is it where you live also? |

I noticed this is pretty common when I stopped for food as I traveled across the country.
